What should I expect?

R.O.C.K. Camp Adventure will be a unique, fun, and challenging experience that will introduce you to some of the amazing outdoor activities that are available in Northwest Arkansas and the Buffalo River State Park. As America’s first National River, the Buffalo River area will provide participants with many fun and exciting experiences including Camping, Hiking, Canoeing, Rock Climbing, and Ziplining. No prior outdoor recreation experience is required, but a willingness to be an active participant as well as a team player is very important for this program.

Why should I go?

R.O.C.K. Camp Adventure promises to be one of your best University of Arkansas experiences! Participants will not only learn a multitude of outdoor skills, but will also make friends with other new students, as well as upperclassmen that serve as Mentors for the program. Students will be placed in small groups, which allow for the sharing of ideas and discussions centered around life on the Arkansas campus. This is a great way to learn about unique opportunities that the University of Arkansas offers, as well as gain valuable skills and tips that will help you to be successful while at the University. Step outside your comfort zone and jump start your college career by sharing an amazing experience with your fellow students.
